I came across this messageboard via Google. I am from the Batesville area, and have been in the hobby since last December. I own a 33 gallon tank. I am working on filling it with soft corals, mushrooms, and zoanthids. I am looking to make friends in the area who would be willing to trade tips and maybe sell frags. The closest stores are Searcy or Jonesboro, so it would be nice to find someone local to discuss this hobby with.
Welcome to the forum! We try to have meetings in different a parts of the state so everyone can attend at some point. In fact, We have an event in Searcy every November.
Thanks! I will have to check it out for sure. Searcy isn't a far drive from here. I have been to the Fish Bowl there, and have some pieces from there in my tank. I've also visited Reef Escapes in Jonesboro. Those are the only two stores I have been to. I've not found many people in this area into the hobby, although I am sure there are some out there.
