If anyone has a nice mantis shrimp they would be willing to part with I would like to know. I have a halloween hermit and a foursome goby/pistal shrimp pair that I will have to rehome if I get one so maybe we could work a trade. It's 2 High fin gobies and 2 pistal shrimp. I had one as a hitchiker when I first started my tank as a reefer. I wish that I had known then what I know now because I would've kept it and made a species tank. I ended up killing it while trying to remove it.
I remember reading that. Unfortunate. I spoke to someone else that ended up having to snip his in half because it was too dangerous and they were unable to remove it.
i read a post on here where a while back someone found a bright yellow one and gave it away. it was beautiful.
I had a bright green one for two or three years, that Kevin and Cindy gave me. Once he got about two inches big I had to move him to a route acrylic tank since he cracked the 2.5 gallon glass tank I had him in. Miss the little guy, he was super fun to feed.
I guess that is what Northside gets sometimes. He said they are usually green. I like stuff that's fun to feed like puffers, crabs and triggers. I guess I like mean critters that tear other critters limb from limb lol. If I get one it will be in an acrylic tank. It seems like they are really intelligent.
Your kidding...I was just in there Saturday and didn't see any. Of course their fish person was out and the lady back there was not knowledgeable. Do you know what kind it was?
