Well, if you haven't heard Chris scratched his finger again !!! This time it was his index finger on the band saw. Seems it went halfway through his finger and cut a nick in the bone. (OUCH)
Guess we are going to have to limit his power tool usage. It was the last piece of coral in his new aquascape, so the job was completed before the misshap. Get well soon buddy, you sure find some strange ways to put off woodworking.
Luckly Sam was there assisting and they made a quick trip to the ER, by car, not helicopter !!
Last time we talked he and the percosets were getting along fine.

sorry to hear about the finger chris. sounds like you should have taken up some of the free help offers. we could have spotted you or you could have cut our fingers too so we all had war stories to tell lol. cant wait to see the pics of the new aquascaping.

It's good you don't have vampire corals, but i guess they would be happy if you did. Anyways too bad for your incident. Hope you heal well.

  4. I am usually doing what I shouldn't when I do these things, this is the third time. I was working with Sam aquascaping my 125 gallon and we were done except for placing a orange oxypora in the tank - to which I decided to cut some rock off of with my band saw. I had already ruined the blade cutting rock and wanted to get just one more cut out of it. It had become quit dull and I was pushing it to hard through when it twisted upward getting my left index finger. Roxanne took this picture of me at the ER after I had my pain shot [IMG]
