I am breaking down a tank and no longer have a good home for my Asfur Angel. I have had it for almost a year and it is doing fine. I see them online for $119.00-$159.00. I guess size wise mine would be in the mid price range about 4" with adult coloration. I will start at $75.00 if anyone is interested. Look up some info on it if you are interested, not "reef safe" as it feeds on corals and especially sponges. Great fish only tank member. I can deliver to the meeting in Hot Springs on the 19th.

Hey I am new around here and was discussing coral with another member. He told me that you would have some Brown Star Polyps that you would be willing to part with. If so how much?

That's a great price. Drs. Foster and Smith have the Asfur on sale this week and a "medium" sized specimen is still $99.00 before shipping. Yours might qualify as large and that's listed for $229.99

Has yours been keep in a reef system, and if so has it behaved?

This angel has been kept in a tank I have been storing my live rock for the 200 and only had one other fairy wrasse with it. This is a Pomacanthus Angel and all are prone to nip (or eat) stony and soft corals, sessile inverts, and clam mantles. I have a related angel the Maculosis in the 400 and it sometimes nips at my finger leather and has eaten some types of mushrooms. I had to remove all polyps from the tank, but it seems to be selective about some corals. I have a nice bubble coral and some toadstools and other softies it dosent bother, or at least not yet. It also killed 2 different kinds of long tenacle anemones. My sugestion would be for a fish only with live rock so not to create any problems. Guess that sounds like I smashed all hope to sell this one, guess I'll have to make room for him somewhere else.

Bigman, I'll bring you a nice rock to the meeting this weekend and I know you work, but maybe someone in Hot Springs will keep it for you. Let me know if this works for you.

I'm suppose to get with Bigman sometime to check out his tank, so I can baby sit his rock until then, no prob. If that works for him.
