I have never had an anemone so info would be helpful too such as risk of it walking around or killing fish. My tank is 46 gallons and has t5s. 2 actinic and 2 10k. Please text me if you have one for sale or possibly trade. 501-231-4916.
I had a long tentacle one that kept knocking the corals off and getting himself stuck in the filter return. He traveled around too much so I traded him in after 4 months. Too much trouble!
How big is your tank? I know carpets get really big but I don't know about bubble tips. My tank is just under 50 gallons so size is also a concern. It seems like the smaller ones walk around which I also don't want. I'm thinking I might move on from this.
I was also going to suggest a rock anemone. They are small and from what I hear they don't move around much. Aqua SD has some really nice ones for sale.
Rock anemonies are ok but I want longer tenticles. I like tube anemonies but they are pretty high when I see them for sale. I would also like something pretty big that would take up a good portion of my tank. A bubble is what I was thinking about.
I have had rock anemonies but they are kind of plain. Cute but plain. I want longer tenticles too. Rocks look kind of like mini carpets and hairy mushrooms. I like tube anemonies but if I got one it would go in my nano with my mantis which has no corals now thanks to the light breaking. If I get one I am thinking bubble.
Yea that is what I was afraid of with them. I love the way they look but I have heard too many stories of fish swimming into them.
