This is going to be a contest to give our treasurer Joe (jaysuncle) an Avatar. The winner will get a frag of my candy cane coral. :shock: History - Joe thinks that you should not waist valuable effort with such mundane fun things that make using a computer fun. Joe thinks and I am quoting that you should use a solid color on your desktop so that you don't waste any of your computer resources on such nonscence like pictures. Joe made me get rid of the Razorback Reef water mark on my emails because they were to difficult to read. I can only imagin how frustrated he gets with Marti's cutsie email templates. :lol: So since Joe is one of the more active members of the forum it behouves us to give him some flare. maybe joe just remembers the pre OS X days. well i do to and as much as i like my mac at home i never would have bought it with OS 9 or before. they just lacked alot back then. but now with the integration fo the linux kernel and the ginormous(sp?) amount of eye candy how can one pass it up? if you haven't tried a new mac and are in the market for a new computer take a trip to your local comp usa or guitar center to play around with one. the new ones are on par as far as price wise with new equally equiped pc's.
