What percentage did you set your different led colors to and how long did you set your coral acclimation to?

Tagging along. Interested in what folks with established and well colored SPS have their settings on. I'm also wondering what to do when adding new SPS. Use coral acclimation or just start with the new SPS on the bottom and work up.

I have the Vega Colors and I'm using 48% white, 70% Blue, 70% Royal Blue, 65% Deep Blue, 20% Red, 15% Green. Initially I set coral acclimation to 30% reduction and 4 weeks to rise to present settings. This was on a new tank though.

Got my Director in today. I must be a techno idiot 'cause it wasn't as easy to set up the wireless as expected. Once hooked up it works great, love how easy it is to adjust/change you light settings and ramps.

One question for the other Director users (Greg, Cory and I think a few others). If you make changes and don't save them will it revert to your saved graph if you close it out? Can you store different profiles and switch between them?

On the back of my Windstream modem/router there is a WPS button by pressing it and the button on top of the Director the light on the Director will pulse red around 15 to 30 seconds then connect to the enternet wirelessly turning the Director light green. Are you able to connect this way? If you make changes and don't save and close out. It will revert back to the previous settings. You can store different presets and switch between them. I don't think you can switch between profiles unless you make each profile discover each Vega separately.

Thanks Corey. My router is not WPS equipped so I had to do it the other way. Didn't realize Bonjour was already on my computer and the directions were not clear as to which network (local or WWW) you use for which step. Got it set up though.

How do you store presets. I'd like to store my present settings and then make another one for when people are coming over and I don't want the tank to be unlit (my lights come on in the early afternoon so they are on while I'm home in the evening).

The preset is on the control page just below the save. Click on the arrow down button in the box that says "No preset". When that opens you will see a list of: No preset, Easy Setup and Add Preset. There in the Add Preset you can name your setting. Once you have named your setting click the "+" symbol that is below this box. Now you can set your lights the way you want them under this new Preset. Once you are done DON'T FORGET TO SAVE. Now all of your settings will be saved under the Preset you just named. I guess you can make as many presets as you want and toggle between them at any time. Hope this Helps.

Thanks! I was a little leary of clicking that afraid I would lose my present settings. I set up an identical graph that's just 3 hours earlier in the day to use on weekends when people are over. I really like this much better than the old "new controller".

So Whitney, where are your Vegas set now?

I have some SPS on the fringe of my lights than have browned a little. I raised my fixtures from 10" to 14" and set my program to gradually go up 15% on each color over the next 6 weeks. Think that will help? How far above water line are you guys setting your lights?

Mine are setting about 7.5" above the water line, wish I could go higher.
