Introduction of new attendees/members. Old Business 1. 501c3 status is close to being complete, contrary to what was posted in the previous month's minutes. 2. Tabled the t-shirts until the current ones have been sold 3. Food drive for this event will go to a home for battered women in Searcy. Toy drive: please contact Whitney if you have a toy to donate for Christmas. 4. Discussion over website issues. The bugs that are occuring currently should be corrected with the update to vbulletin. New Business 1. Bayou Reefkeeping out of New Orleans area contacted us to post on our website about events that they will be having. We welcome their participation on our forum and possible future events. They are hoping to bid for MACNA in the future in which we would give them our support. 2. Nominations for the 2014 officers were finalized. Whitney and Duane accepted their nominations for president and vice president. Please see the member's forum for a complete list. Voting will begin 12/1 and last for 21 days. Meeting was adjourned. Tasty lunch provided by the members followed by fragging of four nice coral colonies. 3 corals were raffled, and a 29g Coralife Cube aquarium. I'll be posting the future meetings in each month's minutes since this has a tendency to change: Shawn DaPrano has offered to host the meeting in January and John will then host the meeting in July instead.
