Finally got my lights fixed, I forgot how pretty my tank was, now just to get my rock work done and start adding more sponges!!! mag 12 was sent to danner to have them fix or replace it, so it's almost done finally...

It started growing on the base of an acro colony, and I kept it cleaned off for awhile. I let it grow out a little and it's cooler than the acro so I figured, too bad acro lol. Here's a pic, this is under a 20k metal halide.

Nice, with that species you will never be able to keep it off the acro, better to cut it and save what you can haha.
We have a winner! Had The Fish Tank order him for me, he is about 2 feet long, and if you haven't figured it out by now Erin has to play with all my fish for some reason. When I was acclimating the eel she asked me if I had seen a spot on my vlamangii tangs fin. When I said no she turned to my fish tank and turned back around a few seconds later with my tang in her hands pointing at the spot. Keep in mind my one and only net was in the garage at the time...
