Thinking about going bigger.

I think I'm ready to go back to a larger reef. Still on the fence but if I see a rimless for a pretty good price, I might just stop thinking and do it.

If anyone sees a reef ready rimless at their LFS, please let me know. Looking in the range of 50-100 gallons and 36"-48" in length.

I'd like to go rimless because I'm planning to go with 8xT5 lighting. A standard eurobrace tank will deflect some, which some say is negligible, of the light which will provide me with less options when landscaping.

I've been looking at the amazon 50 gallon rimless bundle but the stand is made of compacted wood. From personal experience with the JBJ 30 gallon rimless stand, they swell, and that means a possible disaster in the near future. Not to mention its only 24". Not the best tank if I'm looking to keep a tang of some sort again. I miss having a tang lol. What do you guys think? Is it worth the risk for the price?

    HIya,

I know Kevin at Paradise Pets in Benton has had rimless tanks in his store. He'll be more then happy to help you order a set up if you want to go that route.
