For those of you who haven't made it up to the Fish Bowl yet, you are missing out. Jack and his fish guy are very helpful and their prices can't be beat. Today I bought a McCosker's Flasher wrasse from them for a little over $16 with the club discount. I am really pleased with this new sponsor.

    OH ABSOLUTELY,
At last months meeting they were extremely warm and welcoming. The shop was very clean and organized in my opinion. Their tanks looked very healthy, as did all the live animals in the store. The prices are well within reason and with the discount they are just great. I think sometimes we don't take into consideration when purchasing online that there are shipping cost, waiting for it to arrive, if there is a problem with the product then there is turn around time to send it back and get a replacement, plus it is extremely important that we support our local small businesses. My only regret is that they are five hours from me. But any time I am up that way rest assured I will stop in and spend a little dough.

Since they have updated their saltwater section they have been great. I have gotten to know Jack's "fish guy" and he knows what he's doing and is not just looking for a sale. He asks questions and makes sure to know that the fish or coral is going to a good home. He only works Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays so make sure you go on one of those days. The guy who works the other days isn't too keen on the saltwater (and is pretty lousy at cichlids too).

Glad to see a local fish store that is interested in the aquarist needs and not just out for a sale. I wish them well.
