I would really like to know how plates or fungia are fragged? Anybody out there have experience in this?
I have fragged fungia by cutting across the mouth. you can get 4 pie shaped frags from each one. Each frag has to have part of the mouth.
Do you need to cut the skin before the bone or just saw through it all? And does anything need to be done after?
Depending on the size of the coral, I would use the saw. With some of these very small ones out now, I don't think I would frag them or if you did, not more than half. Just treat as any other frag after the cut.
