I went with a 33 gallon for my first tank. And you could probably have a member that's close to you coral sit them until you get your tank up. But it's too close to reef fest I think to have a tank up, cycled, and coral ready. I'd also recommend going with the soft coral option at Reef fest. Maybe a hardy LPS too. There are usually several options. I'd stay away from sps until your tank was mature and stable. I've watched too many corals die when I was starting out in this hobby.
Yea i thought i would make it in time but im betting your right. But i did start a new thread in new tanks because i found a 90 gallon to start with so thats the way im headed and it would be cool to have someone hang on to the corals but it will be a few weeks before i even get water in tank to start cycle. So theyd have to hold them awhile.
I've got a 93 gallon. That's the way to go. I'd offer to keep them, but I live in Batesville and currently have a hair algae issue I'm dealing with. But I bet there would be someone else willing to do it.
I actually work in batesville. I live like five min from pleasent plains. But i appreciate it anyway. If I cant find anyone someone else can have them not a big deal.
