I want to see pictures! Everyone should have a nice sized piece of those large colonies. Orange and teal, @NatalieMadison ?!? C'mon friends, you got em, you better flaunt em.

Only a couple polyps open this morning. And a majority of the others are thinking about opening. My colony frag seems to be in great shape. I dipped 10 minutes in a combo of Reef Dip and Coral RX. No noticeable hitchhikers. No noticeable signs of pox.

The green color seems to be a bit more bright green than teal. I love the contrast. And they glow under the blue lights!

Wish I could get a pic from the other side but the bow front tank makes the image warp.

  4. @Deton8it , did your frag have signs of pox or additional hitchhikers?

    Hiya,

I'm babysitting Allen and Doc's zoa's. Mine's opened burnt orange and a cream center. The other's look like they may have some green polyps on them. They're just starting to open up. Though, they all have some polyps that may not make it. Dipped in Coral RX before I put them in. The color may change on them once they reach their home tanks. I've got them under compacts right now.

  10. image.jpg Most polyps are opening now, and it looks like I have a combo. Some are tan with soft orange centers and some are orange with green edges.

@Deton8it , photo lower right...I had a small group of polyps break loose in positioning. At the lower edge of the photo one polyp has a brown ring. Brown algae?

    Hiya,

Looks like the red/green one's are watermellon zoa's. Nice!

I assume it's algae and not the fungus. The fungus will look like a film.

  14. Mine is mostly green, but I have a few orange on the back side of the cluster.

Man, mine still aren't doing much of anything. Sort of look like they are losing tissue in places. I've seen 2 heads that look like they are trying to open but haven't gotten very far.

When just the blues are on I do see some orange glow near the openings on some but still haven't seen them open yet.

Well it looks like I just had to go and talk bad about them.. lol I just looked and they are opening some. With just blues they seem to have green fringe with a bold orange or reddish center. They still haven't opened completely though.
