I’m at the point where I’m beginning to add livestock. 2 clowns in the display (doing great) and 1 Bangai cardinal in QT and I can’t get the thing to eat. Pellets and Flake (which fish store said they were feeding) a no go. Acts interested, takes them in and immediately spits them out. Frozen brine and/or Mysis, it will eat one and turn its nose up to the rest. Had it about 6 days and still looks good, but not sure what experience you all have had or any tips to get it eating better before putting him in with the clowns. Thanks!

Are you quarantining the fish? If you are and using copper, it can make fish not want to eat. Have you tried soaking the food with garlic?

There is also a fish additive called Entice that I've had some success with over the years.
