So I have talked to doc about offering phosphate and alkalinity testing with our Hanna digital testers at the February meeting for anyone who attends. I will be providing all the testing reagents needed. What do you guys think? It could be a great way to help out people that are new to the hobby or who maybe just don't have these digital tester available to them. Then they can get a much more accurate reading to see where they really are with their water parameters. Also if you anyone needs their salinity checked or their refractory meter calibrated that will also be available. We will also be comparing the results between our two testers of the same brand to see how accurate they are. We can also discuss preferred ways to correct tank parameters from different members and hopefully get some knowledge out there. So please leave any comments or suggestions you may have to make the next meeting more beneficial for everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read and we look forward to seeing all of you there.
We will have some steak and chicken tacos. The chicken and steak will be fresh off the bbq. Charro beans and rice with be the sides.
Thank you, I really hope that there are some reefers out there that it can really benefit. Helping everyone have great success in this hobby just makes it that much more enjoyable and better for everyone involved!
My wife reminded me today that my son's Christmas present to me was tickets to the Razorback game Saturday. I hate it, I was really looking forward to the meeting. The guys are working on having an outstanding coral for the meeting. I will let Jake handle the testing this meeting and I'll bring my kits to the March meeting and we will offer testing then as well.
Hiya, Okay, folks, we need to let Jake know what folks are bringing. He's making taco's. Jake, does someone need to bring the sides, shells or anything else? Kim- as always Desert.
We will have the sides and tortillas...only thing I can think of is maybe drinks, plates, cups, or anything else you might think of that I have left out. Thanks
Members: Forgot to mention that I will be bringing my XL Gryphon and complete fragging surgery kit!!! This is for members who want to frag their personal corals, but don't have the tools or time necessary. Bring something on Saturday during the meeting and let's have some fun!!!
