You know I'm always willing....just can't on our regular day this month as I'll be travelling back from vacation. I could host on the 28th

Yeah usually a different member hosts at there house every month. Last month it was at Kim's house and there was 8-10 people there could be more or less though. 20 people would be a good guess imo.

Ok well I’m a all in whenever I do something and not a real “take your time” kinda guy. Plus what better way to get to know people than to invite them over. So I might be able to host a meeting on the 21 of this month. Would like to know what all is involved like dose there need to be a tank to put stuff in while the meeting is going on. I just don’t know what all this event would intel...... so not a deffanent but a strong possibility.

You just have to supply the main dish club members bring sides. The club gets the coral just need 5g RO and 5g salt. The meetings are usually on 3rd Saturday of the month but sometimes there are exceptions

    So question....
You say 5g to and 5g salt. I have 5g buckets and have plenty of rodi and salt mix. Will that do?

Just need the water to put the corals into cups to take home. And for fragging purposes.

So usually what happens is we all start showing up with our sides and whatever. Everyone sits around and chats or checks out the host’s tank or checks out the club coral ... often we will discuss a topic like dosing, testing, getting rid of algae or whatever then someone (usually John and/or Bo) frags up the club coral into however many members are there (only members get the coral) and everyone eats. Then we draw numbers to see what order we get to pick and go down the line and pick our corals. Some go ahead and leave and sometimes people hang out for a bit. Usually just play it by ear. It’s always been a good time for me! :)

Sounds good. So I’m looking into hosting on the 21st. Excited to host and get to meet some great people. So I’ll need a head count. If nobody else claims to host this month.

Lol good luck getting a headcount! I really don’t know how anyone plans without a headcount but somehow they make it happen! I usually bring the eating utensils. I just hang onto them from the last meeting and add to as needed.

That would be cool to get some great shots of all the stuff in the tank. Almost all my fish and my two cleaner shrimp eat out of my hand at feeding time, so
I could prob get some really close up shots. Is it a go pro?

It’s a Nikon. I was hoping Doc could get some good Reef diving pics! My iPhone is waterproof if you want some tank pics.

I cannot imagine sticking my phone in my tank, waterproof or not. How do you see what you are taking a picture of?
