Well I tried for three weeks to catch the dang chromis out of my tank because they were the only survivors from the velvet. I had no luck trapping them, I even tried to starve them for a week to see if they would go in the trap, but no luck. So today I did what I have been avoiding. I removed all the coral and rock from the tank to catch the last two. Of course I can't recreate my scape and I'm not happy with the new one, but all the fish are out and I can start the 72 days of a fish free tank. On another sad note I shattered my red monti into four pieces, and broke several other corals . Not a great day, but we are moving forward. All the chromis are now in QT to start their treatment.
I'm pretty positive it was velvet, but I'm not taking the chance. I do not want to experience that again and I really don't want to have to scape the tank again any time soon LOL.
The acan to the right was reaching out and looked like it was going to sting/consume my new zoas so they got moved.
