Kim, mine is in lower light in the back corner of my tank. It seems to be happy. I kept it on the sandbed forever, and it didn't really like that. And David, I haven't had the other duncan much longer than the club one. Maybe a month I think. It was a single head when I got it. I'm not sure why it's going crazy, but it is. I got it from one of the online sites. I think Salt Critters or Saltwater Fish.
Galaxy coral that I picked up yesterday after the meeting. I've moved it even farther from the clam since taking this photo. I've been reading about how aggressive they are. But they are really beautiful.
That is a really pretty coral. Thank you so much for the war coral. I am cleaning tanks today so I'll try to find a nice place for it. I didn't clean tanks before the meeting because I thought it would be useless since i had planned to move everything.
Hey Allan have you got a look at the feeder tentacles on that galaxia yet? I've seen some pretty long ones and I've heard they've got a nasty sting. Just wanted to point that out. Good lookin coral though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey yeah. There were two at the store. The other one had the feeder tentacles extended, so I got an idea. Looks like it could be nasty if it wanted to. I haven't seen any tentacles extended from my coral, but I'm keeping a close eye on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I also hooked up my protein skimmer last night. I've been running over a year skimmer less, but I'm going to see what running one on my system will do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If my other tank will hurry up and cycle, all the other corals on the bottom are going into it and this will have free reign. For some reason when I bought it, I was thinking it might be an elegance coral. Which I know it looks nothing like. The fish bowl was super packed, and I was just trying to get in and out. Thanks. I will for sure do that. I think I did that with a torch coral and it never gave me any problems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Beautiful Alan!I love the green monti cap on the backwall! Can't wait to see what you will come up with on the big tank!
Thanks David. I wish my Phoenix monti would grow as fast as the green monti. It's growing though. As soon as it gets as large as the green one, I'll make sure you all get a frag of it. And I'm excited about the large tank. After seeing some of y'all's tanks in person, it has inspired me to go for it. I've had these two large tanks sitting empty for over a year. It's time to do something with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As far as this tank, I've turned my light intensity down. I was having an algae problem, & wanted to see if this would help. I mainly decreased the whites. I'm wanting to see if running my lights closer to 20k will really color my corals up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
