I will test the par tomorrow since I myself am curious even though I most likely wont change anything since the corals are growing and loving life!

Should do an update on my water quality but I have yet to check it since day one so my apex log charts are empty......maybe I need the trident if that unicorn ever gets released or should I get a reefbot? Probably going to be the same price and I know I'll need it eventually!

Well trident is out now lol

Well I wont get a trident strictly due to the cost of maintenance and reagents. Just not worth the hassle over time. I've narrowed it to reefbot or alktronic because let's be honest alk is the top dog to test and even if alktronic only tests alk that's the most important to monitor frequently!

I just dont like 44 every 2 months and 100 ever 18 months to replace parts

That’s true if i had one it will be only doing alk and cal once per day and mag one a week

You can't do just once a day it has to be 4 times for ALK and 2 Ca minimum. So if what Neptune said is correct its 600 for the unit 44 every 2 month and needs calibrating every year (18months) for 200 if Neptune does it. So just calibrating and reagent cost for 2 years is 728 which is a lot. In my opinion

Lol I cut it out of a piece of plexiglass. Made the rim 3/4 inch wide. If I make another I would probably do 1” the material is 1/4 thick. I bought the screen off amazon. I glued the screen to the underside of the plexiglass. I use a glue we use at where I work it is made for glueing screens. It has a spray applicator that hardens the glue almost instantly. I still have to make me 3 more for the 220 lol

Got the par meter and wanted to see what the daylight par was in the tank and I would say it's not bad what do y'all think?
