Is this a feather duster or aiptasia?

    Is this a feather duster or aiptasia? I think it’s a feather duster, but I want to be sure.

    Feather duster....filter feeder/good guy!

    If you can see where they are coming from, the feather duster has a hard tube it creates and lives in. Aiptasia are anemones and just attach to the rock. Once you see both you won't have any trouble telling them apart.

    Agreed it's a feather duster! You can put some super glue on it if you really want to but if it's not messing with the zoas you should be fine!

    I am just going to leave it be. I figure it won’t live long once I get wrasse put in my DT.

    Actually wrasses won't be a threat to it.....a Copperband Butterfly on the other hand.......
