I purchased a new anemone yesterday. I think they had "sunburst" in the name. They were super bright, and I paid $125 for it. The LFS told me the guy they got them from said his would split like crazy. They had probably 4 at the store. They were wanting to hold onto them and try to split them, but they sold me one. So I go into the room where my tank is, and turn on the light. I notice the anemone looks like this. It looks like there is two feet now. I also fed it a couple of hours ago, not knowing it was going to split. It was in a good spot, and I was trying to keep it from moving. I fed it a chunk of squid. It looks to be throwing up that chunk of squid. I am assuming because it's digestive system is currently splitting. I have seen anemones puke up their guts, and I don't think it's that. It looks just like the squid.
