i have a Duncan that has been doing great I have a new red acan and a hammer coral that are beside it. None are touching there is plenty of space in between them. It was open and doing well yesterday when I target fed my corals reef chili. It has been closed up all day today. Everything else in the tank is really happy. Any ideas of what is happening with the Duncan? They are really hardy corals so I’m a little confused.

You might try moving the hammer a little farther away. They can send out very long "sweeper" tentacles especially at lights out or when feeding. Those can be pretty hard on nearby LPS.

I moved that Duncan btw to the other side of the tank. Not only did it open up but it is growing another head too. Ur advice was on point thanks. This response is super late ha!

Also, if the coral fed, then it will be closed for a bit the next day in my experience to digest and expel waste. They grow a lot faster than people think aye?
