DIY light rack

Discussion in 'General Reef Discussion' started by SilentReefer, Sep 7, 2018.

  1. In an attempt to decrease shadowing from LEDs as well as fill in potentially missing spectrum gaps. I just bought an Odyssea 4 bulb T5. With the new purchase I also decided to build a light rack. The lights simply rest on the light rack. Do to cost, I purchased the Freshwater version T5 fixture, which just means it came with 4 T5 6500K bulbs instead of 10K and actinic. Much to my surprise, the color of the tank looks really good. I run my LEDs at 100% (3 black box).

Yes, they were angled on purpose.
