hello, I’m starting up a new reef tank, I just moved to Little Rock. wondering if anyone has any LFS that they recommend or if anyone in the group has extra coral frags. I’m starting up a new reef tank and am trying to find some nice frags on a budget. However I think there’s only 1 LFS in Little Rock (that I know of).
Welcome to RRMAS and to Little Rock. There are two LFS in Little Rock, The Fish Tank which is on Bowman Curve and Live Rock Aquatics which is on Rodney Parham. Pickin's have been pretty slim for frags at both lately (I'm sure due to Covid/shipping issues). What kind of frags are you looking for? LPS, SPS, zoas? Our president has a lot of nice SPS he could frag for you. I have a couple of Whammin Watermelon zoas and could cut another frag of my Morning Glory zoas if you would like one.
I'm obsessed with zoas so that would be really cool! Thank you, I saw the pictures of your zoas and they look really great. I'm eventually wanting to have some xenias, hammers, pipe organ (tubipora musica), starburst polyp, and whatever else I can fit. I've been to The Fish Tank and it was aight, but I didn't know about Live Rock Aquatics so I might have to go check it out. I'm planning on setting up my tank next week, so maybe they will have some live rock I can pick out. I'm starting up a 13.5 gallon fluval btw.
I checked out Live Rock and ended up getting my live rock there, real nice guys there. My tanks almost done cycling! Going to add a few small upgrades to the fluval and then it'll be time to start filling it up.
Thank you! I was thinking about a clown And maybe eventually getting an anenome or maybe a seahorse only tank, or just some gobys/firefish haha, I can’t decide, I know i can’t have that much in a 13 gallon so I gotta be realistic lol. Oh I would love some rasta! How big/how much do you want for them?
