    Hiya,

So, talking to some of you at the Frag Fest yesterday, I know I need to change my first chamber filter and my resin. However, I can't find my directions on my unit. How often do I change the filter in the chamber on top of the unit. The round one? I thought I remember it was every 4 months, but heck, my brains mush.

Are you talking about the RO membrane? Mine is over 5 years old and going strong.

Can you post a picture of your rig and indicate the ones you're referring to?

    Hiya,

It's hard to tell that the first canister with the cabon is really orange in tone.

The orange canister is your sediment filter. It needs to be changed now. I buy them from BRS for about $3 a piece. The middle canister should be the carbon block and the one the left your DI. The membrane is in the white tube on top. You sould change it when the TDS of the water leaving the membrane is going up. Usually that number is 0-2 for my RO membrane and of course 0 when leaving the DI.
