Did you know that Blue Linckia will eat asterina starfish? I had seen people post pics and stories but didn't believe it till I saw it with my own eyes. Took this picture a couple of hours before I broke my tank down and moved this guy to the temp tank.

    LOL! Cool Jason.

I didn't know you had a linckia. How long have you had him? Interested to see how he does for you. I've heard so much about how hard they are to keep. I've had mine for 1 1/2 years now. I really think the key to them is a mature tank with plenty of biofilm for them to eat.

My very first crash was from a Blue Linkia. I was on a trip out of country and it died in my tank back behind a rock. Jennifernoticed it now moving and when she went to pull it out it fell apart. She removed it and said it smelled horrible. LOL It crashed my tank and killed everything except 1 clownfish. I have been nervous to get one ever since.

Yeah everyone I have had died along with all the other "biofilm eaters" lol maybe the key is having asterina?

I have always had asterinas. I've had the linkia for about a year. I see him eating them all the time.
