I'm going to use my old Trigger 36 sump during my move on my temp tank. It has a bunch of coralline algae and calcium carbonate deposits on it. If it was glass it would be an easy cleanup with white vinegar but someone told my you can't use vinegar on acrylic tanks. Is that true? If so how do you clean that kind of stuff off of an acrylic tank?

I think you are fine with White Vinegar Doc. I have never done it but I can't find anything that says not to use it on acrylic.

Thanks John! I had about decided to go with it anyway. Gonna plumb it this week and leak test.

Sump cleaned up nicely, thanks John. Testing it out this weekend.
