I recently put an Mp40 on this tank so that I could use the mp10 in my biocube. I decided that I wanted to use the other mp10 in my biocube as well, so I ordered another mp40 this morning. Do y'all think that's overkill? I know you can dial them down. I'm running the other mp40 at like 50% right now.

I think two dialed down will be a little better just because you can get much more varied and random flow with two. Is it worth the added cost? Hard to answer that one but I'm thinking so.

I was happy with the mp10's. I think the vortechs are for sure worth their price. I think people often overlook the importance of flow when it comes to the health of a reef. Also, I didn't look at my bank account, I just hit order. So I should be ok. :)

Great video! You have a real talent for that.

You have some major flow going on! The long tentacled duncan and the blastos look familiar. :) Tank is looking awesome.

That's the two mp40's. I've got them dialed way down. I think it's the right amount of flow, everything seems to be extended fully out, except for a bubble coral. But I couldn't make that one happy with even the mp10's.

I've got some more corals coming in from Unique Corals tomorrow.

    For the 93 Gallon:
Metallic GSP for the back wall. Hopefully these are truly metallic green. I just ordered some from Saltwaterfish.com and they were advertised as metallic green, but were actually brown. Kinda upset about that. I have a whole bunch of reasons why not to order from there again (i.e. $9 packaging fee for the same packaging you get at a LFS, bag and water, and half the order spilling out into the cooler) but I won't get into all of that.

Electric Green Alveopora - read that these are a little bit easier than goniopora. I'm going to try them and see. I think if I have ever had a shot with a coral like this, it would be in this tank.

Rainbow Monti - not sure if I have a spot for this, but I'm gonna try it.

Sexy Shrimp - gonna try a pair of them.

    For the Nano:
Filefish - noticed some aiptasia. Going to see if he and the peppermint shrimp can keep them under control.

Yellow Fiji Leather - always wanted one of these. Hopefully it is a nice yellow and does well.

White Xenia - I know about it being a "weed," but I like it, and this is a soft coral tank. I may let it grow on the back wall if it does well.

Sexy shrimp are so cool. I had a group of 3 in my pico for a long time. Great nano critter.

Picked up this sponge and a sea whip (I believe) for this tank yesterday. Also picked up several large leather corals for the nano tank.

I got a new cell phone, so I'm testing out the photos. I think this phone takes pretty decent pics.

Samsung Galaxy s7 edge. I've always used an iPhone, but they weren't great at taking photos of tanks.

LOL no he won't be. He's growing on me. He's stayed visible all day. They are neat to watch. So far he has been a "gentle giant" and not knocked anything over. But he for sure adds diversity to the tank.

Thanks. As long as my coral beauty leaves it alone, it should be alright. I've caught it nipping it though.

The reddish pink zoos on the far right hand side are awesome. They really pop in person. They are called Helm's Deep. I need to figure out how to frag them.
