An alternative would be an appetizer such as a cheese tray. A quick story.... one time I brought a "desert" to a gathering. I stacked 3 cake plates and filled it with beef jerky, twinkies, swedish fish and gummy bears. Half the people thought it was cool and the other half looked at me like I was from Mars because of some faux pas. Corey
