I used a Quiet One on my 75 and on my Neo... I also have one on the Frag tank on my set up now. They are very quiet indeed and very good little pumps. Never had a problem with any of them

The world’s largest water pump is not just a big mag drive with a huge sticker price, it also plans to be a safeguard against rising floodwater in New Orleans. At $500 million for the entire installation, the impeller on this giant flood pump alone probably costs more than your entire LFS and it is taking over four years to build. The image above of the part dwarfing the truck is just the diesel engine that will power the massive water pumping device. A particularly attractive feature of this Kraken sized pump is automatic sweepers that keep the intake strainer clean of debris; you know like the trees, shingle and small cars that get sucked in when there’s a flood. </div>

I have two quiet one 3000's one 2200 and a 6000 and have only had one impeller go bad in three years. I love them they are very quiet and have even ran dry for an hour once and no problems.

We have a quiet one4000 on my son's tank. We had an issue with one (a motor problem that was there fresh out of the box) but had it warrantied and the new quiet one 4000 works great. They're really nice pumps for the price.

I too use a quiet one pump.  It has served me well with no issues whatsoever for the last two years.

Quiet One pumps would not restart on power outage and leaked for me. I use it for salt mix now.

For the money quiet one would be my best bet replacing a mag 9.5 is way too costly. On eBay or retail mag 9.5 are from 120 to 150 ish. The cheapest retail I have found these is 78 at the fish tank and found them buy now on eBay NIB 49 bucks with 24 shipping so it would almost equal out. Besides when the pump was still good it was still fairly loud.
