I wanted to start a thread that will have all the club come together and chat and discuss whatever about the reefing hobby. With that being said feel free to ask and post anything that is fish/coral related here. I would like to see how everyones tank does during this time also. Just like on the BRS video this could be something great for your tank and your love for the hobby or you might end up hurting your tank now that you have soooo much time to tinker with it or them.

Right now I don't have a lot of time for the tank....no time off work. Just can't go out and eat or see a movie. Hopefully I don't get bored and do too much changing with the tank. Hope everyone stays safe and well.

The pink goni I won at the Live Rock auction.

I would suction that stuff as it dies....better yet take a brush and brush as much off as you can, then suction it out.

I've got tons of bubble algae in my overflow but almost zero in the DT. I have emerald crabs (the ones from Reef Cleaners are guaranteed to eat it) and my Gold Rim tang loves it. Only place I can see it is in small cracks (occasionally) that the Gold Rim can't get to and on the tubing to my UV that neither the tang or crabs can get to.

I bought a new fish. But I've only seen him twice since putting him in the tank. I'm hoping that he will develop more personality. It's a coral gumdrop. Neatest little scorpion fish.

I almost bought a pair on DD a few weeks ago for my nano. Really cool fish! Hope it does well in your tank!

Me too. My nano is probably fully stocked with 5 fish (3 panamic barnacle blennies, an Exquisite Firefish and a Randal's Assessor.

Got a flasher finishing quarantine tomorrow. May be about fully stocked on the big tank too.

Well I have to say at home a few days but when I made this post I was "essential" now with a positive in my office everyone was told to stay at home. With that being said thoughts on a regal angel? I think if I can find a small small one I could raise it to leave coral alone and with my auto feeder I feel like getting fed 3x a day would help.

Don't you dare get me to thinking about a regal angel! That was one of two fish(the other was a mandarin) that got me interested in saltwater tanks. I'm just too attached to my zoas and LPS to try it. My dream would be a second large tank that would be SPS only. I would probably have several angels then but definitely a regal!

Man I like my zoas but sticks have taken over my tank and get all the attention minus some montis and a couple chalices.....I want one!! with that said I will only get a small baby because I feel the bigger the more exposure to the tasty corals

I guess if it doesn’t work we can see about donating to the predator tanks
