Just playing with some Halloween props and decided that I feel like that skeleton waiting for corals to take off and grow in a newer system. Sometimes it feels like it takes so long to grow our systems out the more we watch them that you will end up like this skeleton by the time it's grown. I guess you could call it "new tank syndrome" haha
I would like to hear all of your funny comments and about how much or little you watch your tank.

Even if I didn't want to look in my tank everyday, I still have to do maintenance and feed so I have to look, lol.

    Agree Jake!

This is a picture of my tank about 15 months after setting it up. It was sad to have to break it down when I moved. It seems to take for ever but you can have pretty mature looking colonies of certain corals in a year or so.

I get accused of doing nothing and staring at the fish tanks all day! It might be mostly right on some days!

If you stare more than 5 times a day that years seems like 3 years..haha

After staring for a few minutes i usually find something to clean..like the skimmer cup or wipe the glass...then it feels like me looking all evening is more productive..lol

Yep, always fiddling with something on my tanks - watch them long enough and I promise you will notice something that needs doing. :)
